PlayDock is a curated directory of free-to-play games and special offers. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you. You can browse the public catalog without creating an account.
1. Information we collect
Information from Google. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only the basic account information you authorize on Google's consent screen. This may include your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.
Usage and device information. We use Google Analytics to understand how the public website is used. It may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and interaction events. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies.
Information you provide. We receive information you send when contacting us, including your email address and message.
2. How we use information
We use information only to:
- authenticate you, maintain your session, and provide the account features presented to you;
- display your chosen name or profile image where relevant;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve PlayDock;
- measure aggregate website usage and performance;
- respond to support, privacy, or legal requests; and
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We do not use information received from Google APIs for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data or other personal information.
Google API data
PlayDock's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
PlayDock does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google product content unless a feature clearly explains that access and the requested permission appears on Google's consent screen.
3. How we share information
We may share limited information with service providers that process it for us, such as website hosting, authentication, security, and analytics providers. These providers may use information only to perform services for PlayDock under their applicable terms and data-protection obligations.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not share Google user data with data brokers or for personalized advertising.
4. Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Authentication records and account data are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to legitimate legal and security requirements.
5. Your choices and rights
You may browse PlayDock without Google Sign-In. You can disconnect PlayDock from your Google Account at any time through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with PlayDock. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
6. External sites and affiliate links
PlayDock links to game publishers, stores, and promotional partners. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning PlayDock may receive a commission without increasing your price. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover their services.
7. Children's privacy
PlayDock is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country to consent to online services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
